Where: "The Big House" at River Hills Retreat, 11900 AL-160, Hayden, AL 35079

Who: Married couples who want to improve their marriage and glorify God through it.

Here’s what you can expect:

• We will provide several sessions of lecture focused on improving spiritual, emotional and sexual intimacy in your marriage.

• Interaction with many other covenant-focused couples will result in edification, validation, and accountability.

• Your marriage will be renewed, refreshed and invigorated by the time together and intentional focus on your relationship.

 

Here’s what you WILL NOT experience:

• You will NOT be expected to share personal stories or information with strangers. You will be challenged by the content of the Enrichment Weekend to begin conversations with your SPOUSE, not anyone else.

• NO kids! You are welcome to bring babies, if necessary. But, this time will be focused on marriage  — NOT parenting.

• We will NOT avoid sensitive topics that significantly affect most marriages such as, sexual desire discrepancies, learning to embrace conflict, dealing with betrayal such as pornography, etc.

• 5-6 PM: Reception

• 6:00 PM: Introductions

• 7:00 PM: Dinner/social time

• 8:00 PM: Itinerary review, purpose of the event

Saturday

• 9:00-9:30 Coffee Reception

• 9:30-10:10  Face to Face With the Image of God — do I magnify the glory of God in my spouse? 

• 10:20-11:00 Passionate Purpose — is my marriage a spiritual victory for the Kingdom?

• 11:10-Noon Submitting to One Another — do I know what my spouse needs?

• Noon-1:00 Lunch

• 1:00-1:40  Light in the Darkness — overcoming sexual sin in your marriage

• 1:50-2:30 The Eternal Beauty of Afterglow — do I create lasting sexual connection?

• 2:30-3:20 Question/Answer

• 3:30-4:00 Re-Entering Eden — is my marriage a dwelling place for God?

• 4:00-5:00 Optional Dinner/Social Time

*Lodging is available for those who want to stay on the premises Friday night.  Lodging is bunk-room style and can accommodate up to 100 people.  Boondocking is also an option for those who own RVs.  Contact Melissa for more details.
